Carnation by Comme des Garçons
Today's fragrance choice is CdG's Carnation, when I applied it this morning it smelled sweet. However upon re-application I can smell the spiciness of it. It's a bit like red hots meets carnation.
According to
Luckyscent, the notes in this one are: red carnation, essence of red pepper, red rose, cloves, absolute Egyptian jasmine, absolute red pepper.
It sounds a lot spicier than it actually is, it's not as powdery as Malmaison and it's spicier than DSH's Oeillets Rouges. I think this would be great year round but especially sexy for evening use!
This is a welcome find and the price isn't too bad compared to Oeillets Rouges but I hear you can find it at better prices at other places! Online however it's available at
Luckyscent for $58/75 ml. or 2.5 oz.
