Made for T.V. movies are no longer as popular as they once were, in the 1980's we were treated to those movies starring Loni Anderson or Ann Jillian. Lifetime Television has since taken up the torch and it's two most famous stars for our generation are Tori Spelling and Kellie Martin.

The two have a lot in common, both Tori Spelling and Kelly Martin have worked together in both Troop Beverly Hills and the cinematic masterpiece A Friend to Die For. They were both in shows in the 1990's that featured controversial topics. Spelling's "Donna" on Beverly Hills, 90210 was a virgin who got drunk and almost didn't graduate hence the popular saying "Donna Martin graduates." and Martin's "Becca" dated "Jesse"played by Chad Lowe who was H.I.V. positive.

While Tori Spelling's series ran for all of the '90's. Kellie Martin's did not. She hoped to revive her career with several movies of the week a show called Christy and she did a short stint on ER.

All is not lost with Kellie however, I'm pleased to announce she's found success with a made for t.v. movie series called Mystery Woman where she is currently filming the fourth installment.

Take that Tori Spelling! I bet she wishes her Dad had produced that series as well! If you have the opportunity, please for your sake watch The Face on the Milk Carton, where Kellie Martin plays a character who actually discovers her face on the milk carton!
