¡Ombligo!

I finally went through the famous Barney's gift bag and today's sample is Route du Thé. According to the website: Our signature "way of the tea" fragrance. A crisp eau de toilette of citrus, muguet and amber. Exclusively ours.

Before applying this to my skin I didn't much like the scent but when I applied it my opinion changed! This smells very light and clean, like an herbal shampoo (not Herbal Essence). The notes in this are incredibly pure. I just adore the lily of the valley in this fragrance, very subtle yet enough. I wouldn't be able to tell there was amber in this fragrance if it weren't listed on the site - I can't smell it at all! As it warms to your skin the staying power dwindles but it doesn't make this fragrance any less beautiful! I think this is a fragrance that is suitable year round but would be best worn in warmer months and can easily go from day to night.

I'm thinking I may have to buy this one and the best thing is that it's incredibly affordable! It retails for $55/3.4 oz only at Barneys.
