¡Ombligo!

Chergui

I'm challenging myself to wear only samples and decants of scents that I've never worn for over a few hours. So, today's fragrance is Serge Lutens Chergui thanks to the fabulous Barbatia!

Chergui is an oriental fragrance. The website says the following of Chergui: Chergui of the name of a dry and hot wind in Morocco. An elixar of honey, musk, skin, incense, tobacco leaf, hay sugar, amber, iris, rose, santalwood. Divine, magnificent, bewitching, fatal, lashing.

This is not a fragrance that I would typically wear but I find it incredibly haunting and sexy andI would find this equally nice if worn on a man. I could only envision myself wearing this during fall or winter because I'd be afraid it would be too heavy for spring or summer. But, this would make a very sexy fragrance on cooler nights when the weather is warmer!

Because Chergui is part of the exclusive range, it is only sold at the Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido, decants and the occasional bottles are found on Ebay.
