Since I'm wearing A La Nuit again I'm writing about the fragrance I'm testing tonight. The notes in Carriere include citrus, soft florals, bergamot, lavender, lilac and jasmine. When it was first applied, musk was the predominant note. However, after it warmed up to my skin I could smell a soft orange mixed with a light lilac and jasmine. I think this is a beautiful fragrance that would be sensational year round as a day fragrance. I'm finding this may be too soft for evening wear but I tend to under apply a lot of fragrances.
