Ganache for Lips

Ganache for Lips

In an attempt to prove that all products made with Scharffen Berger chocolate do not all smell bad I opened up the tube of Ganache for Lips that I purchased a few months ago. I bought the original mint version but they have since expanded the line to include Chocolate Orange, Mocha Latte, Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Almond and Lemon Mousse.

The ingredients in this tube of chocolate mint are: Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil, Beeswax, Shea Butter, Scharffen Berger Unsweetened Chocolate, Vitamin E, Cocoa Absolute, Rosemary Extract and Peppermint Oil.

When I applied it to my lips it smelled exactly like chocolate mint! It's not as strong as a York Peppermint Patty, but it's stronger than an Aedes Mint. The scent lingers for a while and you are left with temporarily moisturized lips. I suffer from eternally chapped lips and nothing stays on them long enough, this is not the type of lip balm you'd wear to bed as it's all but gone after an hour but this is great as a daytime lip balm provided you're going to reapply it several times a day.

Would I repurchase this item? Yes! While it's not the most moisturizing lip balm on the market, I do like it a lot!

It's sold at Beautyhabit for $4/.15oz.

Comments:
A must, must have! I am a chocolatic, and lover of lip balms.

I can't wait to buy this product...I want some NOW!!!!

B,

It's wonderful! I heard that the rest of the line is just as good as well!
