BPAL Honey Moon

Honey was the second theme of my summer fragrances, now that it's late summer I think it's a perfect time to wear honey fragrance. BPAL's Honey Moon was offered for 24 hours on May 23, 2005 as part of their lunacy collection which features a different scent for each month.

Honey Moon contains five different honeys, ranging from pale and sweet to deep and heady, with hints of jasmine, white gardenia, Hawaiian white ginger and thyme.

It starts off a pale floral on my skin which dries down to a warmed honey fragrance that is spiked with the Hawaiian white ginger. It has a slightly tropical feel to it without it being too tropical which is a relief as I'm really not much for tropical fragrances. A nice fragrance that can be worn in both warm and colder months as an all day scent, perfect as a comfort fragrance. I could have done with better staying power in this scent as it's very light.

In all honesty, I much preferred Bathed and Infused Honey Harvest fragrance to this one. The scent in that fragrance has developed over time into a much richer and deeper honey fragrance.

Honey Moon retailed for $15/5 ml. and is no longer available but can be purchased through Ebay or certainly be swapped for.
